There is no tree berry that is more seductive, savory, rich, and decadent as the olive. Cultivated for thousands of years, there are over 60 varieties of olives, each with its own magnificent characteristics. One thing we love, that makes olives so great, is that they enhance seasonings and seasonings enhance them.

We aren’t looking for any kind of commitment, we are only here for a quickie. For that, we grab our go to base: salt, vinegar, garlic, and some water.

A red wine vinegar would be nice, but, again, this isn’t a wine and dine thing, we want to be in and out and on our way so good ole 5% white is how its gonna be.

Salt and vinegar and garlic is great. But you can get that at home, we are looking to take things just a bit further. For this, we picked up the Pizza Time and got real familiar with it, real quick.

We got it on right then and there. Lots of sloshing and slipping and sliding and making sure every inch was covered with mouth watering mix. You can almost feel them in your mouth; rolling around, bumping your tongue, until it slides down your throat.

As soon as we were done, we wiped everything down (wow that was wet), dropped the ingredients and olives in the fridge and that was that. A few days later, we ran into those olives again. The second we popped one, it was a full on rush of zing, spice, and salty garlic. Yea, we’ll definitely be doing this again.
